CQG is reaching out as a part of our ongoing efforts to ensure consistency in user experience and continue to foster relationships with our partners. As a reminder of our standard practices, please review the following instructions:
- When onboarding any new user, it is important to provide complete and accurate information for all fields in CAST.
- When setting up or changing user entitlements, please take care to ensure you/your CAST administrators are enabling the correct version of the entitlement requested (i.e., real-time vs. delayed, professional vs. non-professional, individual product vs. bundled services, etc.).
- When setting up or changing user entitlements, please ensure you are working with CQG staff to coordinate data and third-party service entitlements applicable. Specifically, if a user has a CQG Integrated Client system or a CQG QTrader system, please be sure to contact customercare@cqg.com to ensure all functionality the user has requested is available in all systems.
- You/your CAST administrator setting up users within CAST are responsible for ensuring all required exchange paperwork is collected and stored. Specifically, per the terms of the agreement with CQG, you/your CAST administrators are responsible for collecting non-professional user verifications and/or other exchange documentation, where required. For many exchanges that have specific documentation, you/your CAST administrators will see the following prompt as a reminder that documentation is required:
All documentation required must be maintained in an easily accessible format and made available to CQG, on request from CQG or any respective exchange. - Understand that all services enabled in CAST will be billed, regardless of whether the user accesses the particular service/product during the month in question.
We appreciate your continued efforts in delivering high-quality products and driving ongoing customer success. If you have questions about any of these (or any other) CQG requirements and practice, please contact the FCM Desk.
