CQG Gateway Release Includes New Features

There is a gateway release on September 21, 2018. In addition to enhancements and maintenance, this release includes an exciting new feature: Broker External Orders Our broker customers have been asking for the ability to enter orders into any account, including accounts associated with the broker that are not set up on CQG.  As we develop CQG's OMS capabilities we're pleased to release this new feature, which includes placing orders into any account, optional give up designation, and other exchange attributes as required by some exchanges. Commitment of Traders Dashboard and CQG COT Studies

This Microsoft Excel® dashboard pulls legacy Commitment of Traders data from the CFTC website for the Chicago Board of Trade markets. The CME COT Reports dashboard is coming soon. After the latest report is published on Friday, the historical data tables in Excel can be updated from the Dates tab. Using CQG IC’s XLTS study you can display the historical Large Speculators, Commercials, and Small Speculators data on a chart in CQG. ‘Market Limits’ Page Update in CAST

We are updating the new ‘Market Limits’ page, making it easier to set per commodity limits. The update will be available in CAST after August 11th. Trading Bracket orders and trailing orders are enabled in preferences by default. Charts Heiken-Ashi charts now available. Study parameters and style have been combined into the same dialog. Globex Grains and USDA Crop Progress Reports

This Microsoft Excel® dashboard has two parts: the top half pulls the forward curves for soybeans, corn, and wheat traded on the CME Globex platform and the bottom half pulls the USDA Crop Progress Reports by date. The USDA reports are issued at the start of April and end in November. The dashboard can pull in reports as far back as the year 2000. There is a drop-down menu just below and to the far of left the soybean chart. This Microsoft Excel® dashboard presents two charts of the Nasdaq-100 futures contract and market data for the one hundred stocks that are constituents of the Nasdaq 100 Index. Make Better Use of Screen Real Estate in Excel

You can easily hide things unnecessary items in Microsoft Excel® to open up more screen real estate. All of my published CQG-powered Excel dashboards show you an image. You may have also noticed that the Excel ribbon, formula bar, and column/row headers are hidden from view. This configuration gives you a less cluttered view of your spreadsheet. To turn off the formula bar and column/row headers, click on the View tab and uncheck both Formula Bar and Headings. This is an updated post detailing new features in the original dashboards from a previous post. The three downloadable Microsoft Excel® dashboards present a unique view of four markets. Each overlay chart displays 5-minute percent net change lines from the previous day’s close for today and the previous nine days. NFX Crude Oil Forward Curves Dashboard

This Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet pulls in market data for NFX WTI Crude Oil Penultimate Financial (symbol: NTQ) and NFX Brent Crude (symbol: BFQ), both traded on the NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX). The forward curves display today's data. If the last price is outside of the best bid and best ask, then the mid-point between the best bid and best ask is used in the forward curve charts.
